adopts Castify EBN to accelerate SAP® Learning Solution for
Customers around the world

Antipolis, 12th March 2007 - AGFA Healthcare
launched a learning service to its customers around the world, which is
based on the SAP® Learning Solution, for its superior learning
management over competitor products as a service for external Learners.
In order
to provide customers with satisfactory high-speed access to the
mission-critical and revenue-generating learning service AGFA required
accelerated access to the SAP Learning Solution around the world. The
SAP Learning Solution is installed centrally at the main datacenter of
AGFA for access by learners worldwide. Soon it became clear that for
customers in remote locations the access to the central learning
service was just unusable because of large delays via the Internet.
Short, customer satisfaction and revenues for the learning service were
endangered.
That’s when AGFA
turned to Castify to empower its worldwide customers for seamless
access to the learning service. AGFA tested Castify’s EBN service
acceleration software in multiple locations worldwide and AGFA staff
in remote locations compared the access to the centralized application
services with and without Castify EBN. The difference was astonishing.
On an intercontinental level the performance improvements by Castify EBN
enabled learning globally and made session breakups and time-outs a
thing of the past.
