Production & Broadcasting purchases Castify Software for
Digital Cinema Delivery in India.

Antipolis, 29th March 2007- Edex Production & Broadcasting
of Mumbai has closed a contract with Castify for Castify’s delivery
system used for the delivery of movies to digital cinemas in India.
The purchase includes Castify’s network operation center and
uplink software powering satellite transmission at Lamhas Satellite Services.
Castify’s
EBN platform is the only software platform on the market that allows to
effectively control network performance for heavy video traffic on
global networks.
Castify’s delivery
system makes film distribution cost effective. Instead of the expensive,
cumbersome process of distributing 35mm prints to individual cinema halls
Castify’s system helps Film producers, Distributors, Exhibitors, & Digital
Cinema operators to use its network operation center and uplink software
to encrypt, secure and schedule digital films to all the member cinema halls
in the shortest possible time ranging between 6 to 8 hrs.
The Castify software
installed within the cinemas ensures reliable reception, decryption,
and scheduling within the cinema and interfaces directly with digital
cinema projectors for an end-2-end secure digital distribution path.
